Cobras Shotokan Karate Club is proud of 13 medals

Cobras Shotokan club embraces their karate skills at the championship while is Gauteng watching.

Nine Cobras Shotokan Club members won 13 medals at the WUKF Gauteng Provincial Karate championship in Brakpan.

Karate students from Gauteng attended the competitive event.

The club did well with their nine members winning – sensei Nicholas Gaston-Bellegarde, Keana Truscott (two gold), Alexcia Andrade (two silver), Hayley Peel (silver and two bronze), sensei Laurent Gaston-Bellegarde, Sahara Peel (both two gold and silver), Yakshay Sewnarain (bronze), Tyron dos Santos (bronze) and Ryan Hovell-Erasmus (bronze).

The Cobras Club trains at Ascot Mews, 19 Heidelberg Avenue, Newmarket on Monday and Wednesday from 17:30 to 18:30 (beginners) and 18:30 to 19:30 (advanced).

The first two karate classes at the club are free for any student wanting to try it out.
