The Mall at Newmarket recently marked a major milestone as it celebrated its 10th anniversary, honouring a decade filled with memories, milestones and magical moments shared with the local community.

Since opening its doors ten years ago, the mall grew into more than just a shopping destination.

It became a vibrant space where families gathered, friendships blossomed and everyday moments turned into lasting memories.

From the first morning latte to family dinners and fitness goals achieved, the mall played an integral part in the lives of many Alberton residents.

As part of the celebration, the Mall at Newmarket expressed heartfelt appreciation to the stores that had been with them since day one.

Among these were Checkers Hyper, Food Lover’s Market, Flour & Faith Home Industry, Mugg & Bean, Panarottis, RocoMamas, Spur, Wimpy, Paul James, Virgin Active, ABSA, FNB, Nedbank, Pick n Pay Clothing, MTN, Vodacom, Cat Box Hyper, Incredible Connection, Goldrush, Bidvest Waltons, Rochester and Outdoor Warehouse.

To add excitement to the milestone, ten lucky shoppers each won shopping vouchers worth R1 000, bringing the total prize value to R10 000.

The giveaway formed part of the mall’s appreciation campaign, thanking loyal customers for their continued support over the years.
