50 years of engineering with integrity: The Parnis Manufacturing story

In 1975, a small engineering workshop opened its doors in Johannesburg south under the guidance of Mario Guerini, a hands-on owner committed to honest and hard work.
From those early days, Parnis Manufacturing has stayed true to a simple yet powerful principle: engineering with integrity. Now, 50 years later, that principle still guides everything we do.
Parnis Manufacturing has grown into a trusted name in medium to heavy engineering, with an 18 000 m² industrial site and over 8 000m² of workshop space.

We provide a comprehensive in-house solution that includes trial assembly, machining, fabrication and certified welding, as well as sandblasting and painting. Our team is experienced, dedicated and equipped with a lifting capacity of up to 50t, allowing us to handle large-scale industrial work with care and precision.
Like any engineering shop with real experience, we’ve faced challenges over the years. We’ve made mistakes, as any team does, but what has set us apart is our commitment to learning from them, continuously improving, and always putting our clients’ needs first.

Parnis has been privileged to work across industries, such as mining, petrochemical, iron and steel, power generation and airport military equipment, delivering:
• medium- and large-scale modular enclosures for power infrastructure;
• dragline drum and other critical mining components;
• refurbished crushers and heavy-duty crushing equipment;
• gearbox refurbishment.

Behind every project is a strong relationship. We pride ourselves on building open, honest and long-term partnerships with our clients, many of whom have been with us for the duration of our journey.
