Body burnt beyond recognition found in Alberton North substation

Alberton SAPS have registered an inquest docket after a body was found at a substation in Alberton North.

Alberton SAPS were called to a scene of crime on August 30 before midnight.

They found an unknown body burnt beyond recognition when they arrived at the scene.

“All role players were called to attend the scene. The deceased was certified dead and taken to the Germiston government mortuary.

Alberton SAPS would like to plead with the community, if anyone has a clue on who the deceased is, they may inform the police to make arrests or to find the deceased’s family,” said Alberton SAPS’ Captain Manare Ramotshela.
