SAPS arrest 21 suspects during Alberton district high density operation

Local law enforcement entities work hand-in-hand to fight the crime facing the Alberton community. This follows six entities getting together and fighting crime through the Alberton district high density operation.

Law enforcement officials held a district high-density operation to combat crime in the Alberton policing area on September 8.

Their goal was to strictly enforce laws against drug use, drunk driving, and high-crime neighbourhoods and they paid specific attention to a number of hotspot locations, including Gatewick Park Circle.

The operation resulted in 21 arrests overall.

CPS Security, Alberton CPF, Immigration, local SAPS, Gauteng Traffic Police, and EMPD were among the units participating.

The entities kept fighting crime throughout the night.
