2 arrested, 1 still at large for house burglary
CPS Security arrested two suspects at New Redruth for house burglary after a client sent a panic alert.
Two suspects out of three were arrested for house burglary in St Michael Street, New Redruth, on December 5.
The sales director of CPS Security, Tyrone van der Merwe, said that late in the evening, they got a panic alert and right away, they got a call saying that three individuals were on a client’s premises.
“Our reaction units responded and received a clothing description of the suspects,” Van der Merwe said.
Their response teams quickly covered the area and were able to apprehend two of the three suspects.
They were found in possession of tools used to break into houses.
Alberton SAPS were contacted and the suspects were handed over to law enforcement.
