Fox Security has recent successes in Alberton

Over the last few weeks, Fox Security has made significant strides in ensuring the Alberton community’s safety and security.

With a swift response and effective action, Fox Security successfully tackled various incidents that ranged from theft to break-ins.

• Theft stopped in Randhart

In Randhart, a client’s distress call prompted Fox Security’s reaction team into action. On arriving at the scene, the suspect was identified and apprehended with the store owner’s co-operation.

• Stolen trailer recovered on Swartkoppies Road

Acting on information from the Brackendowns CPF, Fox Security’s tactical team sprang into action to assist with a suspicious trailer seen on Swartkoppies Road. Investigations revealed the trailer, loaded with about R5m worth of copper, was stolen in a business robbery in Kempton Park.

• Break-in foiled in Raceview

In Raceview, Fox Security’s control room received a distress call reporting a break-in at a client’s residence. Fox reaction units responded, apprehending the suspect at the scene and recovering the stolen goods.

• Armed response officer takes swift action in Alrode

In Alrode, a dangerous situation unfolded when suspects were discovered breaking into a business premises. Fox Security’s reaction team wasted no time in responding to the call. Upon arrival, an armed response officer entered the building, where he encountered five suspects in the act of stealing copper.

In self-defence, the officer had to take action, resulting in the fatal shooting of one suspect. Despite the intense situation, officers recovered all the stolen goods and handed the scene to the Alberton SAPS for further investigation.
