Suspect arrested for illicit cigarettes in Alrode
A suspect found with illicit cigarettes worth a street value of R15 000 is set to appear in court.
Brackendowns SAPS and Vispol members arrested a suspect in Alrode while they busy patrolling the area on March 18.
They came across a suspicious vehicle and upon searching it they found a black plastic bag wrapped inside.
Police found a box full of cartons of illicit cigarettes with a street value of R15 000.
The suspect was arrested and taken to Brackendowns SAPS for detention and will appear at Palm Ridge court soon.
