Security officers swoop on suspect after Randhart break-in

The officers found the suspect in possession of stolen goods and armed with a knife.

Fox Security received a tip via a local WhatsApp group about a break-in in progress in the Randhart area on the morning of February 11.

Their reaction units arrived within seconds and were directed by the homeowner to the garage, where the suspect was hiding.

The suspect was apprehended and handed over to Alberton SAPS for investigation and detention.

Captain Segkobela of the Alberton SAPS spoke about the arrest.

“The suspect is in custody and is being charged with theft, breaking and entering, as well as vandalism,” said Segkobela.
