Police are conducting an investigation after the body of a man was discovered next to the N12 on March 3.

According to reports, members of the public came across the deceased and immediately alerted authorities.

The body, which bore visible marks of strangulation, is believed to have been dumped in the roadside area by unidentified individuals.

Authorities have confirmed that the body showed no other significant injuries.
