Ward committee meeting for Brackenhurst and Brackendowns residents
Councillor to announce outcomes of the review of Integrated Development Plan (IDP) priorities.
The community of Brackenhurst and Brackendowns are invited to take part in a ward committee meeting on September 27, starting at 18:30.
The meeting will take place at the Bracken Park Community Hall on the corner of JG Strijdom and Hennie Alberts Streets.
According to Clr Malcolm Maifala-Masebe, following the public consultation meeting which was held on August 23 and a survey circulated through social media channels, the ward councillor will be hosting a ward committee and public meeting to give feedback on the process followed and the outcomes.
“As part of a public participation process in reviewing the IDP, the ward councillor put measures in place to ensure that the public does have their views reflected in the IDP review. Furthermore, as part of this process, feedback will be given to the residents on the entire process and the outcomes thereof” said Maifala-Masebe.
Maifala-Masebe said not only will the IDP be discussed at the meeting; residents will also be given an opportunity to raise their views on any other service delivery issue they may have.
