Children enjoy water fun at school

Splish, splash what a bash.

Junior Colleges Castillian recently had an exciting time hosting a Water Fun Day. The learners and teachers enjoyed a sunny day outdoors, splashing around on water slides and bouncing on the jumping castles.

“The day started with load-shedding, so the slides and jumping castles were put on pause, but never fear because the teachers at Castillian are here,” said principal Samantha Barnard.

The teachers got creative and put out a few “splash pools” with buckets and bubbles for the learners to enjoy while patiently waiting for the slides and jumping castles to be blown up.

The countdown began, and the fun started with the loud noise of the slides turning on and the learners screaming with excitement. Next thing you know, the playgrounds were filled with water and bubbles as far as the eye could see. The day was a huge success, and the learners and teachers joined in on the wet fun.

After a long day of sliding, jumping, and splashing their teachers, the learners dried off and caught a tan while waiting for lunch.

“The school had a great day, splashing some happiness around. We cannot wait to do it again, because we all know soaking in the sun at the pool is all kinds of fun.”
