Ward 106 Clr Denny escalates issue of Alberton street lights
Together with his team, Ward 106 Clr Tim Denny has conducted a census on all streets in Alberton that are without functioning street lights, to be escalated to the energy department.
Many street lights are totally out, not because of bulbs but because of one simple fuse in a mini-sub.
This is according to Ward 106 Clr Tim Denny who appealed for the City of Ekurhuleni’s urgent intervention in repairing all street lights in Alberton.
Together with his Ward 106 committee team, they have recently conducted a census on all streets in Alberton and will escalate it to the energy department on May 12.
Local SAPS and local security agencies have noted a marked increase in petty crime at night in streets without lights.
