Truck trailer catches fire on the R59 North
Motorists are advised to approach the scene with caution.
On May 31 in the Alberton area on the R59 North, just before Michelle Avenue, a combination truck trailer caught fire.
The two rear wheels of the truck caught fire whilst driving, the fire department responded swiftly and managed to defuse the fire.
It is confirmed that the driver of the truck sustained no injuries and no injuries have been reported.
The EMPD has confirmed that the truck has been removed from the road and traffic is flowing.
