Alberton ward councillors encourage residents to vote in their respective stations

Alberton ward councillors encouraged residents of Alberton, who have recently moved into the area, to register to vote.

They also urge locals who have never voted to register.

Voters in the upcoming national and provincial elections must be aware that they can only cast ballots in the places where they are currently registered to do so.

Individuals who have moved since the last election should take advantage of the chance to register to vote at the closest voting station on November 18 and 19.

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) registration weekend will see the following polling places open for local citizens to verify if they are registered to vote.
