Newmarket
• Make a stop at Stepping Stone Hospice, 15 Heidelberg Road (corner Ascot Road), New Market Park, to view the Tree of Light. If you are looking to honour a loved one during the holiday season, consider purchasing a virtual remembrance globe with a personalised message.

• The Festival of Lights at Joburg Zoo will brighten up your festive spirit with its month-long programme of events. Fun for the whole family. Open from Thursdays to Sundays from 19:00 tot 22:00. The festival of lights is open until January 7.
