Alberton SAPS’ women celebrate Mother’s Day

To make Mother’s Day more special for the female personnel of the Alberton SAPS, the station commander organised a high tea for them.

To commemorate Mother’s Day, the Alberton station commander, Colonel Olven Letloenyane, organised a high tea event at a nearby restaurant with the members’ and management’s help on May 10.

The event’s primary goals were to honour Mother’s Day and, in a way, boost team morale by recognising and applauding their dedication and perseverance.

Letloenyane said the members’ dedication and focus had yielded positive results for the station.

“It is of most importance for us to celebrate women and show them how they change society for the better. Women are good at multitasking, so we should give them that honour and show them how much we appreciate their presence in our lives,” said Letloenyane.

The ladies and gentlemen of the Alberton SAPS enjoyed a delicious meal and enjoyed the day further.
