One person was rushed to a nearby hospital following an accident at the intersection of Voortrekker Road and Clinton Road, near the old CMH Toyota this morning.

Reports indicate that a white Nissan bakkie and a white BMW collided, resulting in injuries to nine people.

Motorists are advised to find alternative routes since two of the four lanes are closed, causing slow traffic.
