The market day saw community members support each other’s small businesses.

The New Redruth Village was home to an Alberton market day.

Held on October 26, sellers, buyers and people wanting outdoor entertainment came together to have fun while fundraising for the NG Church South Crest.

The food stalls sold vetkoek and mince, boerewors rolls and coffee. There was a white elephant table and live entertainment and performances.

Mascots walked around greeting the shoppers and playing with little children.
