Stepping Stone Hospice hosts collection drive this festive season
Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Services is hosting a special collection drive for toys, decorations and pre-loved items, from clothing to furniture, to spread joy to those who need it most.
With the season of giving at our doorsteps, Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Services is hosting a collection drive for toys, gently used decorations, pre-loved clothing items and second-hand furniture.
From teddy bears and dolls to trucks and puzzles, every donation will help the non-profit organisation raise vital funds to support their patients and families through their charity shop.
Stepping Stone Hospice founder and CEO Tersia Burger said the collection drive is more than a fundraiser.
“It is a way to cherish the Christmas spirit and bring joy to those who need it most. We want to spread joy among our residents and their families.
“These pre-loved items will be sold at affordable prices to those who need them. We will also be able to keep our doors open through this fundraiser,” she said.
The Hospice, dedicated to providing compassionate care for patients with terminal illnesses, recognises the importance of creating a warm and welcoming environment during these holidays.
