Ligstad celebrates a year of blessings at Celebrating Grace event

The centre brings together a diverse group of helping hands on a mission to foster generosity and bring about change in the community.

Ligstad hosted a Celebrating Grace evening on November 14. The heartfelt event was dedicated to thanking God for a year of abundant blessings.

This gathering united members of non-profit organisations, church representatives and local businesses from Alberton and surrounding areas.

The evening featured a scripture reading and prayer by Chaplin Corné van Tonder and uplifting speeches from Evette Kruger (Addicts Voice), Eric McKechnie (Life on the Street), Rene Cloete (Doxa Deo), along with John van Straten, Daniel Viljoen and Alida Jooste from Ligstad.

Non-profit organisations, church representatives and local businesses from Alberton gathered to celebrate.

The event’s main focus was to honour God, celebrate the achievements of Ligstad’s projects over the past year and share the vision for the future.

Special musical performances by Ilse-Louise Herholdt and Coert Grobbelaar added a joyful touch to the celebration.
