Amcare will host a festive jumble sale fundraiser on November 29 in Phola Park.
The organisation, which provides essential services to populations affected by HIV/Aids and GBV, the elderly and more, aims to ensure needy people enjoy a festive season with their nutritional needs met.
The event will run from 09:00 to 13:00 outside the Boxer store.
All proceeds will go to Amcare’s ongoing fundraisers, which help support the most vulnerable residents of Alberton, Phola Park, Eden Park, Greenfields, and surrounding areas.
Amcare has two victim-friendly rooms at local SAPS stations, providing critical support to GBV survivors.
The jumble sale is part of its mission to reach those in need and ensure that no one faces the festive season with an empty stomach.
The community is encouraged to come out, shop and contribute to this cause.
