The Alberton model dream coming true in few days to come at the United State of America
Mr Alberton 2023 winner Devline van Rooyen will raise the South African flag high as he travels to Los Angeles, United States of America.
Born and raised in the south of Johannesburg, model Devline Van Rooyen, started his modelling journey three years ago competing in the Mr Alberton pageant and walked away as the winner.
On March 29 he made it through to the audition for Ipop Los Angeles where he was selected as one of the 40 contestants out of 2 500 hopefuls.
Devline has won many pageants and titles since he started his career which includes Mr Alberton, Mr Social Media, Mr Next Top Model, Mr Inspirational, and Mr Public Choice.
Devline didn’t stop there and proceeded to compete in KwaZulu Natal when he won Mr KZN and in 2024 he was also announced as Mr Springs ambassador.
Devline expressed what impact this trip will have on his career and his followers in the future and he believes he will make it to be the South African top model.

“It’s cool to know that a South African is going to experience all this, I will get to bring back new modelling techniques, skills, for the next models in the country,” he said.
Devline will spend six nights in Los Angeles California for Ipop Los Angeles meeting not only with DMH, the agency through which he was scouted, but also meeting different artists and celebrities from around the world.
“During the six nights in the USA, I will be meeting with different celebrities and I will be walking out on the stage with the agency through which I was scouted. Over 30 different people in America are going to sit down and say I want to work with Deviline. I’m excited about the opportunity,” he said with a happy smile.
He made himself a promise that he would get back to South Africa signed, and come back to the Alberton community with inspiration and people can look up to him. Devline wants to make a success out of his name as his end goal and become the top model for South Africa.
“Those who support my fundraising efforts will not just help fund my trip, they will be investing in the next biggest South African dream male model,” he said with confidence.
