A collision between a taxi and a bakkie on the Swartkoppies Road off-ramp in Alberton caused significant traffic delays on April 8.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
The traffic lights on the off-ramp were not functioning at the time of the accident, which may have contributed to the confusion between the drivers.
Motorists traveling in the area are experiencing heavy delays, and no law enforcement officers were present at the scene more than an hour after the crash occurred.
The Alberton Record spoke to both drivers involved in the incident, but neither accepts responsibility for the collision.
