Lwando Radebe was the winner of the hula hoop challenge, and he won a colour power and lemon water.

“I’m happy that I won and am grateful. At first, I thought I wouldn’t win. I felt scared, and I just couldn’t believe it,” he said.

The principal of the school, Alida Joshua, was happy with the event.

“The parents helped us with the fundraising, and they are the best at what they do. They go all out. We try our best to get the resources because we don’t receive funding from the Gauteng Department of Education. We are a private school and that’s why we do the fundraiser,” she said.

Despite the learners and teachers being covered with powder, everyone was smiling and they enjoyed the day tremendously.
