WATCH: Church brings Easter to life with family-friendly adventure show
The Living Word Church turned Easter into a vibrant, hands-on celebration that brought smiles to children and meaningful moments to families.
The atmosphere at Living Word Church was abuzz with excitement when families from across the community gathered in large numbers for the highly anticipated Great Easter Adventure Show on April 12.
The gates opened at 13:00, and by the 14:00 start, enthusiastic locals had filled the venue and were ready to celebrate the Easter weekend.
Designed as an interactive family experience, the show offered something for everyone. Children enjoyed various fun activities while attendees indulged in treats from local food vendors and the church’s coffee shop.
The main attraction was the show itself – a vibrant mix of music, games, and storytelling centred on the true meaning of Easter.

According to Caitlin from the Living Word Church, the aim was to “create a meaningful experience to bring families together to celebrate Easter”.
“One of the highlights was when we brought a real sheep, named Sheepie, on the stage after explaining that our Jesus is our good shepherd,” she said.
The fun continued after the show with a family carnival.
Children and parents enjoyed activities like an animal farm, train rides, jumping castles and classic carnival games.
The Great Easter Adventure Show was more than just a celebration. It was a joyful community gathering that reminded everyone of the importance of faith, family and togetherness.
