Claim your vehicles from the EMPD pound

The EMPD urges the public to collect their impounded vehicles before they are sold at an auction.

The EMPD urges the public to claim their listed vehicles from the pound on the specified dates.

Failure to do so may result in the vehicles being sold through a public auction, and the EMPD will handle the proceeds according to Regulation 320(4) of the National Road Traffic Act (NRTA) 93 of 1996.

The EMPD advised owners to claim their vehicles to avoid losing them to an auction.

Alberton’s impound log image, where drivers can identify their vehicles, is attached.
