Alberton SAPS treats women officers to a belated Mother’s Day celebration
The women of Alberton SAPS were treated to delicious food, refreshing drinks and heartfelt appreciation during a special post-Mother's Day lunch celebration.
Although Mother’s Day has come and gone, Alberton SAPS ensured that the women at the station were not left out.
The Alberton Police Station treated its female staff members to a special lunch at Fahrenheit restaurant in the Lemon Tree Shopping Centre on May 30.

The ladies were served delicious meals and drinks in recognition of their hard work, dedication, and the vital roles they play within both the station and the community.
“We know Mother’s Day has already passed, but we thought it would be unfair and unkind not to celebrate this day with you,” said Alberton SAPS Commander, Colonel Olven Letloenyane.

“Thank you so much for the efforts you put in. If it weren’t for your dedication and commitment, Alberton Police Station wouldn’t be where it is today.”
The celebration was filled with warmth, laughter, and appreciation as the women were honoured for their continued service—not only as law enforcement officers but also as mothers and caregivers.
