City of Ekurhuleni ramping up road refurbishments in Alberton

Repairs have been completed on Clinton Street and parts of Jubili Street in New Market, refurbishments are expected to be complete on Dekenah Street in Alrode by August 29.

The City of Ekurhuleni (CoE) is ramping up road refurbishments in parts of Alberton.

“As part of improving service delivery and ensuring smooth, drivable roads, rehabilitation work has started,” the municipality said in a statement.

Repairs have already been completed on Clinton Street and sections of Jubili Street in New Market, while refurbishments on Dekenah Street in Alrode are expected to be finalised by Friday, August 29.

“We started the week on the road again because service delivery is serious business. Road maintenance is being rolled out across the City, bringing smoother rides,” CoE added.
