Ward 38 councillor and local stakeholders unite to restore pride at the library and clinic.
The Ward Councillor for Ward 38, Brackenhurst and Brackendowns, Clr Thavha Maifala-Masebe, commemorated Heritage Day by planting trees at Brackenhurst Library and Brackenhurst Clinic alongside the local community.

Joining the councillor were members of the Brackendowns Community Policing Forum (CPF) Youth Desk, Gloria Mahlangu from the Community Safety Forum of the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD), and staff members from the library and clinic.

“Through this initiative, the DA aims to give both facilities a facelift that will restore pride in residents who visit them regularly. We thank all Ward 38 stakeholders for their continued support in making Brackenhurst and Brackendowns a better area to live in,” the councillor said in a statement.
