Entrepreneurs Day at Alberton Primary School sees Young Barbershop founder’s visit
Learners at Alberton Primary School were addressed by the founder and CEO of Young Barbershop (YB), Le-more Jannetjies, who spoke about the importance of entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurs Day at Alberton Primary School saw the Young Barbershop (YB) crew and its founder visit the school to teach learners about the value of entrepreneurship.
Learners were addressed by YB founder and CEO Le-more Jannetjies, who shared the story of how he started Young Barbershop and its growth over the years. During his talk, Jannetjies encouraged learners to view barbering as a viable career path.

“Standing in front of these Grade Sevens today reminded me of when I was in their place in 2012. I didn’t know what I wanted to be, but I had a belief system that I knew deep inside: whatever I do, I am going to be great at it,” Jannetjies said.
He reflected on how athletics during Grade Seven taught him his first lessons in entrepreneurship, discipline, drive, consistency, and the hunger to push beyond limits. Those lessons laid the foundation for his business journey.
“Thank you, Alberton Primary School. You were limitless today. Your energy matched our passion, and the results were sharp cuts and unforgettable vibes. This is what the limitless experience is all about,” YB said in a statement.
