Stepping Stone Hospice counts down to annual Tree of Lights ceremony
Stepping Stone Hospice invites the public to a heartfelt Tree of Lights ceremony to honour the memory of loved ones.
As November draws to a close, Stepping Stone Hospice is reminding the community of its much-loved annual Tree of Lights Ceremony, set to take place on November 28 at 17:30.
The event will be hosted at the Hospice’s children’s in-patient unit, located at 12 Glen Albyn Street, Raceview, with secure parking available at 14 Glen Albyn Street.
This cherished gathering serves as a heartfelt moment to celebrate, honour and remember loved ones who have passed on.
The ceremony has long been a source of comfort and togetherness for families across Alberton and beyond.
Guests can look forward to moving musical performances from the Alberton Mannekoor and Dameskoor, the Harmonia Girls Choir, and acclaimed performer Rudi van Niekerk, all contributing to an evening filled with reflection and warmth.
Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and camping chairs, while food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Supporters can also purchase a virtual remembrance globe for R100, personalised with a message that can be viewed and shared with friends and family at any time.
All proceeds will go directly towards supporting Hospice patients and their families.
