Albertonians can look forward to a vibrant celebration of local sport and community spirit as the Alberton sports festival returns on December 14, kicking off at 11:00.

It will be shared between the Alberton Cricket Club and the Alberton Bowling Club, bringing together families, supporters, and sports lovers from across the suburb.

Alberton’s Elande rugby squad will swap scrums for cricket strokes and lineouts for lawn bowls as they take on teams from the Alberton Cricket Club and Alberton Bowls Club.

The festival, featuring rugby, cricket, and bowls, aims to strengthen community bonds under the banner: ‘Bringing Alberton Together Through Sport.’

Families are encouraged to come out and enjoy a day packed with friendly competition, great entertainment, and Alberton’s unwavering spirit. There is something for everyone.
