Alberton Methodist Church spreads joy to children of Epworth Children’s Home

From personalised birthday surprises to Christmas morning gifts, a local church’s ongoing acts of kindness have helped bring smiles and a sense of belonging to dozens of vulnerable children in the community.

Alberton Methodist Church (AMC) has once again embarked on a heartfelt initiative aimed at positively impacting the lives of children from Epworth Children’s Home.

Throughout the year, the church ensured that all 79 children were celebrated on their birthdays, with each child receiving a special gift and a personalised birthday cake to mark their special day.

This ongoing commitment highlights AMC’s dedication to making every child feel valued and remembered.

As the festive season approached, the congregation extended its generosity even further by wrapping a Christmas gift for each child to open on Christmas morning, bringing joy and excitement during a time often filled with anticipation.

AMC expressed its sincere gratitude to both its congregation and the wider community for their support and generosity in helping to bless the children and make these initiatives possible.

Community members who would like to make a difference in the lives of the children at Epworth Children’s Home are encouraged to contact Pastor James on 011 907 2807 or via email at admin@amc.org.za for more information.
