Ekurhuleni Execuive Mayor Nkosindiphile Xhakaza reshuffled the City’s cabinet, with Peterson emerging as one of those appointed to top posts.
“The executive mayor has effected strategic changes to the City’s mayoral committee, with immediate effect from February 17, 2026,” said the office of the mayor in a statement announcing changes to the local government’s departments.
