Learners, coaches and staff from Hoërskool Dinamika are celebrating a series of impressive achievements after the school received multiple honours at the Ekurhuleni South Sport and Culture Prize-giving.

The awards ceremony recognised outstanding performances by schools and individuals across the region, with Dinamika earning recognition for both team and individual excellence.

The school was named runner-up Sports School in Ekurhuleni South, an achievement that highlights the dedication, discipline and commitment shown by its athletes and coaching staff throughout the year.

Among the standout accolades was the junior netball team, which was awarded Best Junior Sports Team.

The team was recognised for its strong teamwork, determination and consistent performance on the court during the season.

Individual achievements also took centre stage during the ceremony.

Kayla Venancio was honoured as the Senior Sports Girl of the Year, in recognition of her exceptional sporting talent and contributions to the school’s athletic programme.

In addition, Donovan Aucamp received a special honorary award in recognition of his outstanding administrative work in cricket, highlighting the importance of leadership and organisation behind the scenes in school sport.

School representatives expressed pride in all nominees and winners who represented Dinamika with distinction, noting that the achievements reflect the collective effort of learners, coaches, teachers and supporters.
