Bracken High School’s deputy principal, Ria Kaymenos has retired from teaching after 35 years in education.

A product of Bracken High herself, Kaymenos returned to her alma mater as a teacher in 1989, climbing the ranks to become a respected leader and mentor to many learners and colleagues at the school.

With her unwavering commitment to the school’s values of kindness, integrity, and respect, she has been a constant source of inspiration and guidance, earning the admiration and affection of those she worked with at Bracken High.

Her exceptional leadership was particularly evident during challenging times, including her help in navigating the school through the Covid-19 pandemic.
