The convoy was organised by Brackendowns CPD and other stakeholders, who encouraged residents to get involved and contribute towards making the day memorable for local children. Each participating vehicle brought along a box of Easter eggs, ensuring that the spirit of giving remained central to the event.
Organisers said the initiative aimed not only to spread Easter cheer but also to strengthen community ties. The overwhelming support highlighted Alberton’s generosity, with many residents going the extra mile to donate additional boxes of treats.

The atmosphere on the day was one of unity and goodwill, as community members of all ages came together to celebrate the Easter weekend in a meaningful way. Laughter, smiles and shared moments underscored the success of the convoy, which has quickly become a highlight on the local calendar.
With strong participation and an outpouring of support, organisers expressed hope that the Easter Drive Convoy would continue to grow in the years to come, reaching even more children and further cementing the sense of togetherness that defines Alberton.
