Attend the Ward 38 Public Meeting and help get your ward working
Clr Thavha Maifala-Masebe officially invites all residents of Ward 38 to attend an upcoming ward committee and public meeting.
The meeting, to be held on May 12, serves as an important platform for residents to interact positively and for the councillor to provide direct updates on critical service delivery issues affecting the area.
Residents are invited to join the councillor at the Alberton Civic Centre, 4th Floor, old council chambers from 18:00 to 20:00.
The meeting will focus on several high-priority concerns that impact the daily lives of residents, including:
• Roads, infrastructure and potholes: An update on the current repair schedule and long-term maintenance plans for local streets.
• Non-functional traffic lights: Addressing the ongoing challenges regarding non-functional signals on provincial roads and the progress of inter-departmental interventions.
• Streetlights: A report on the status of lighting repairs and strategies to improve visibility and safety after dark.
• General upkeep: Discussions regarding grass cutting, refuse removal, and the overall maintenance of the ward area.
All residents are encouraged to attend and participate in discussions to help address the issues that matter most to them.
