Royal Schools Alberton joins Sweethearts Foundation to change lives

Royal Schools Alberton is encouraging the community to recycle plastic caps and help provide wheelchairs to people in need through the Sweethearts Foundation.

Royal Schools Alberton has proudly announced its official registration as a collection point for the Sweethearts Foundation, an organisation that provides wheelchairs to individuals in need through the recycling of plastic bottle caps.

As an approved drop-off point, the school has already begun collecting bottle caps, with learners, parents and staff working together to support the initiative.

The project not only aims to assist people who require mobility support but also encourages environmental awareness and social responsibility within the school community.

The school is now calling on the Alberton community to get involved by donating plastic bottle caps.

Bottle caps can be dropped off on weekdays between 08:00 and 12:00. Donors may leave their items at the main gate with security, provided all caps are clean before delivery.

Through this initiative, Royal Schools Alberton hopes to inspire collective action, showing how small contributions can come together to make a meaningful and life-changing difference.

Community members are encouraged to arrange their drop-offs in advance by calling the school’s landline on 011 100 5840 or emailing nabrams@royalschools.co.za.
