Creative Academy learners meet real-life rescue heroes

SARZA Search and Rescue visited Creative Academy School of Excellence to teach learners about safety, rescue operations and community service through exciting live demonstrations.

A huge thank you goes out to SARZA Search and Rescue for spending time presenting an interactive educational programme to the learners and staff of Creative Academy School of Excellence, as well as the preparatory school.

The learners got to experience first-hand the incredible work that they do. “From learning new skills to seeing how everything works in real life, it was truly unforgettable,” said principal Leon Lourens.

“What makes it even more special is that they do all of this as a service for our community, which is absolutely inspiring,” said principal Tyla-Jade.

The learners and teachers loved every single minute of the experience. The passion and dedication for being real-life heroes were truly inspiring.
