The Alberton Lions Club successfully conducted a food collection drive at Bracken Pick n Pay, with community members stepping forward to donate food and pet food for those in need.

Lions members expressed their gratitude to residents who generously contributed to the initiative.

The donations will help provide much-needed assistance to vulnerable families in the Alberton community, while the pet food collected will support animals cared for by the local SPCA.

Lion George delivered the donated pet food to the Alberton SPCA on Monday morning, ensuring that the generosity of local residents reaches animals in need as quickly as possible.

The food collected during the drive will be sorted and packed by club members into food parcels, which will then be distributed to families experiencing hardship within the community.

The Alberton Lions Club thanked everyone who contributed to the success of the collection drive, noting that every donation, no matter the size, helps make a meaningful difference.

The club continues to encourage residents to support future food drives and community outreach projects.
