Stepping Stone Hospice invites community to Charity Walk at Reading Country Club

The fundraising event will support Stepping Stone’s palliative care services and its ongoing efforts to raise funds for a 14-bed in-patient unit in Raceview.

Alberton residents are invited to lace up their walking shoes and join Stepping Stone Palliative Care Services for a 3km Charity Walk at Reading Country Club on September 11.

The event will give families, friends and community members an opportunity to enjoy an evening walk while supporting the work of the organisation.

The walk will start at 17:15 at Reading Country Club, 40 Fore Street, New Redruth, Alberton.

Participants will complete a 3km fun walk, consisting of four laps of 750m each.

The event is open to both adults and children, with entry priced at R100 per adult and R60 per child.

Walkers will also be entitled to receive a drink after each lap, according to the event organisers.

Residents looking to take part in the Charity Walk can contact Tess at 083 290 7562 for more information.
