Family expresses gratitude as homicide investigation into Andrew Bees’ death continues

The family of the late Andrew Michael Bees has thanked the Eden Park community, emergency responders, volunteers and prayer groups for their unwavering support following his disappearance and tragic death, while urging continued prayers as the homicide investigation continues.

The family of the late Andrew Michael Bees has publicly expressed its heartfelt gratitude to the Eden Park community for the overwhelming support received following his disappearance on May 4 and the difficult weeks that followed.

In a message of thanks, the family acknowledged the many individuals and organisations that stood by them during one of the most painful periods of their lives.

Special appreciation was extended to DaChamp Security for their swift assistance in designing and distributing a missing person’s flyer shortly after Bees disappeared, helping to spread awareness throughout the community.

The family also thanked The Pink Ladies for their tireless efforts in sharing information across social media platforms, describing their kindness and dedication as invaluable during the search.

The Eden Park SAPS was recognised for its involvement in the case, while church groups, prayer warriors and residents were thanked for their unwavering prayers, encouragement and support throughout the ordeal.

The family further expressed their gratitude to Eden Funerals Undertakers for the compassion, professionalism and care shown while handling Bees’ funeral arrangements and burial.

While appreciating the community’s support, the family reminded residents that a homicide investigation remains ongoing and is being handled by SAPS.

They expressed confidence that the investigation will continue diligently as authorities work to bring justice.

Reflecting on the experience, the family said the tragedy revealed the strength, unity and resilience of the Eden Park community in the face of adversity.

They concluded by encouraging residents to continue praying for the community, particularly its youth, and for South Africa, while placing their trust in God’s guidance during this difficult time.
