A co-ordinated response by law enforcement, Sentinel Security and other security stakeholders helped ensure the June 30 march in Alrode, Alberton, concluded peacefully, with no further disruptive demonstrations reported in most parts of the suburb.

A strong show of collaboration between law enforcement authorities, Sentinel Security, and other security stakeholders helped ensure the march in Alrode, Alberton, passed safely and peacefully on June 30.

With hundreds of protesters moving through the industrial area, Sentinel Security deployed officers across its areas of operation to maintain a visible presence while supporting law enforcement in monitoring developments and responding to incidents where necessary.

The company’s Drone Division also took to the skies, providing aerial situational awareness that enhanced operational co-ordination throughout the day.

Sentinel Security director Loris Barbera commended the joint effort, saying the success of the operation was the result of close cooperation between all those involved.

Speaking to the Alberton Record, Barbera said: “All stakeholders worked well together. Sentinel Security was out in numbers, ensuring the safety of our clients and community members while supporting a co-ordinated response throughout the day.”

The co-ordinated approach saw Sentinel Security’s operational areas remaining calm as the day’s events came to an end.
