Grades 10 to 12 learners invited to attend free matric readiness programme

Learners aged 16 and above are encouraged to take advantage of a free matric preparation opportunity at the Home Affairs office in Alberton throughout July

Alberton Home Affairs is inviting learners in grades 10 to 12 aged 16 and above to attend a free matric readiness programme aimed at helping pupils prepare for the demands of matric.

The programme will run from July 1 to July 21, with daily sessions taking place from 15:00 to 17:00 at the Alberton Home Affairs Office.

No booking is required, allowing learners to attend without making an appointment.

Learners are required to wear their full school uniform, which includes a school shirt or blouse, tie, pants or skirt, blazer or jersey (where applicable), socks, and closed school shoes.

The initiative encourages learners to develop good study habits and prepare themselves for the challenges of matric.

Participants will be encouraged to stay focused, work hard, set goals and build a strong foundation for their future.

The programme offers learners an opportunity to prepare for the next step in their education while building confidence and developing the skills needed to succeed.

The programme is open throughout the scheduled dates, giving eligible learners the chance to attend and invest in their academic future.
