Doxa Deo to host Butterflies of Hope High Tea fundraiser in Alberton
The fundraiser aims to support the Stepping Stone Hospice building fund while bringing the community together for a morning of inspiration, entertainment and giving.
Doxa Deo is inviting the community to spread their wings for a worthy cause by attending its Butterflies of Hope High Tea on August 29 at Doxa Deo Meyersdal.
The event, which will run from 10:00 to 13:00, will raise funds for the Hospice’s building fund to help ensure continued compassionate care and dignity for patients and their families.
Guests can look forward to a morning of elegance, inspiration and entertainment, featuring Carine Botha as the master of ceremonies, motivational speaker Melinda Viljoen, and musical guest Janie Bay.
In addition to inviting guests to attend, the organisation is appealing to businesses and community members to support the event in several ways.
Donations of prizes and vouchers for lucky draws, items for raffle hampers, and vendors willing to participate are also needed.
Vendors are required to purchase a ticket and donate a prize or voucher towards the fundraiser.
According to the organisers, every contribution, whether through attendance, sponsorship or donations, will help Stepping Stone Hospice continue providing essential care to those in need.
Community members interested in donating, becoming a vendor or booking a place at the event can contact Renè on 084 015 4515.
The organisation encourages residents to support the initiative and help make hope take flight for patients and families who rely on its services.
Tickets are sold at R250 per person.
