Orion’s first-team cricketers receive their 2026 caps ahead of league opener
Laerskool Orion’s first-team cricketers proudly received their caps for the 2026 season as they prepared to take to the field for the start of the league.
There was plenty of pride at Laerskool Orion as the school’s first-team cricket players received their first-team caps for the 2026 season.
The cap presentation marked an exciting moment for the boys, who were recognised for the hard work and dedication that earned them their place in the first team.
With the league kicking off today, the players now have the opportunity to put their preparation into action and represent Orion on the cricket field.
“Congratulations, boys. Your hard work and dedication made this achievement possible,” the school said.

The occasion was also a reminder that the players will not be taking to the field alone, with the wider Orie family firmly behind them as they begin their campaign.
The school wished the team all the best in the league and expressed its excitement for what promises to be a successful season.
For the players, their first-team caps will serve as a proud reminder of the achievement that brought them to this point and of the responsibility that comes with representing Orion.
The message from the school was simple and spirited: “Play with pride. Play with passion. Play for Orion.”
With their caps proudly received and the league now getting underway, the first-team cricketers are ready to embrace the season ahead.
