BMW Kathorus Club seeks community support ahead of 100th charity run
The BMW Kathorus Club is calling on the Alberton and Thokoza communities to support its 100th Charity Run, a milestone event aimed at raising donations for vulnerable children and families in need.
The BMW Kathorus Club is a non-profit organisation, established in 2017 and has grown into a community-focused initiative supporting 42 beneficiaries and more than 3 500 children, including 250 children living with disabilities.
The club will mark its 100th Charity Run on September 12 at Eden Park Opelweg Primary School, with the event starting at 12:00.
The milestone comes as the organisation continues its efforts to uplift vulnerable children in township communities and provide support where it is needed most.
As part of the celebration, the club is appealing to community members, businesses and potential partners to help it make the 100th run its biggest donation drive yet.
The organisation is seeking food and sanitary donations, as well as support from community partners, to help it surpass its previous donation record and provide much-needed assistance to beneficiaries.
