Alberton High athletes bag medals for accomplishments
Alberton High School athletes honoured their school by recently receiving accolades for their achievements on both the track and field.
Alberton High School congratulates 10 of their athletes who brought home 12 medals after the Greater Alberton Athletics Meeting on February 14.
Leya Naicker was awarded first place in javelin U19, Kealeboga Jack first place in the high jump and long jump U19 and Kgomotso Maphike came in third place for 5 000m U19.
Lungile Breanna was awarded third place in 200m U19, Seabela Ramaila in second place in long jump U17, and Kutloano Ramaphakela in second place for 400m hurdles U19.
They were also joined by Sefali Lekena who was awarded first place in U19 1 500m and third place in 400m, Leonnel Bomanga came third in 100m U15, Aiden Cawood first in discus U15, and Prince Ibe third in discus U17.
The school is proud of these achievements on both the track and field.
